One of the greatest compliments I’ve ever received was from a client who was a teacher – she told me I was a good teacher! It’s important because my job is to take the complicated world of financial planning and make it easy to understand. I help my clients with the financial decisions they must make as they go through the important transitions in life.I work with many different types of clients, and much of the work I do is with women who are single either by choice or circumstance, as well as married women. My main focus is to understand where my clients’ circumstances have taken them, and where they want to go in the future. I use the technologies that are available today to easily stay in touch with clients no matter where they live; although I love getting out to see my clients on the East Coast from Southeastern PA through the boroughs of New York City.I also love taking the opportunity to give back. In January of 2012 we began the practice of making a charitable donation each month to honor each of our clients’ birthdays. The charities that we support do much to help improve the lives of women and children in third world nations. We have provided educational supplies, bicycles so that girls can travel safely to and from school, mosquito bed netting to protect them against disease as well as livestock to help them eat and earn a living. Lately we have supported Water.org which makes it easier for women and their families to have a safe, clean and accessible water supply.
