Reporting to the CIO, responsible for all aspects of data center systems/operations, server and cloud computing (Azure), Microsoft M365, network/voice services and disaster recovery across the Ariens Company enterprise environment.Additional responsibilities include coaching, mentoring and developing the IT Infrastructure Team, providing thought leadership across various areas of IT and acting as a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) for Engineering.

Responsible for the management of, and strategy around, end-user computing/support, server computing/Azure, network and voice infrastructure which support the Company’s global operations.Additional responsibilities include: partnering with Sr. Leadership to drive the adoption of new technology to enhance collaboration capabilities; Leading cross-divisional teams responsible for migration to standard technology platforms including M365, Azure, etc. to dramatically increase the IT maturity of the organization; Architect and drive a strategy to move all applicable workloads to Azure to reduce costs through the elimination of on-premise infrastructure, providing greater flexibility and improved service levels while eliminating technical debt.

Managed teams (100+ people) responsible for data center network engineering, global voice engineering/support and network/security service delivery which included threat management/SIEM, DDoS protection/mitigation, network automation/integration, network monitoring/management tools, network capacity management, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, network/security audit and compliance, vulnerability management and telecom expense management.In addition to leading multiple technical teams, I spent considerable time with large financial intuitions supporting audit, risk management and pre-sales activities and I was a regular speaker at various FIS client conferences covering Network and Security Architecture.

In addition to managing the data center network engineering/architecture and enterprise network engineering Teams, I am also responsible for Global Voice Technology. This includes a large Cisco and Avaya telephony infrastructure, multiple IVR platforms, call recording, etc. which support users in N. America and the Philippines. This includes large call centers in both geographies (3,000+ agents).

Primarily responsible for managing data center network engineering/architecture and enterprise network engineering (LAN) Teams. These Teams manage/support a large Juniper and Cisco network infrastructure in the FIS Milwaukee-area data centers and at corporate locations across N. America.

Responsible for management of server/virtualization, storage, network and telecom infrastructure as well as data center operations which support the Bemis Company’s world-wide operations (80 plants in 12 countries). Manage a Team of 5 IT managers and 37 IT professionals. Provide thought leadership in various areas of IT to help the business to better leverage technology.Responsible for global IT infrastructure operating and capital budgets.
