A professional career that kick started as a Commissioned Officer within the Infantry, serving within The Mercian Regiment. Deployed to Afghanistan at 21 years old in 2011, leading men in the face of contested, kinetic operations on the frontline in Helmand.Having completed a 6 year career within The British Army, moved on at the rank of Captain in 2016, embarking on a new challenge. Absorbing experience from within Financial Services, leading change teams delivering various projects. Focus turned towards creating something new combining my passions of good coffee & entrepreneurial spirt to build & launch a business. Dedicating a portion of time towards mentoring young people set & achieve goals.

Training Operation ManagerBritish Army Jul 2014 - Jan 2016Infantry Training CentreManaged & developed a complete re-structuring of the Rehabilitation & Remedial Training branch (approx 80 employees). Implemented change in both sections and designed a training program for each, added significant value and ensured continuous improvement. The project has seen a significant advance in quality and retention. The project continues to save the organisation money as it re-tunes and re-introduces those recruits that would otherwise have been discarded.Completed an extensive performance management review of the organisation, resulting in several recommendations to senior managers for change to be implemented in order to improve the output of the branch. Heavily involved in the containment of large land fire alongside the local fire department for a period of 2 weeks. This involved stakeholder engagement and cooperation across several parties.Lead a unit of 30 men during a deployment to Kenya for a period of 3 months. Planned and executed numerous training exercises and live fire ranges. This involved detailed planning and preparation and resulted in a successful training deployment and positive local engagement.
