CurrentI’m a tenacious, broad-based executive leader focused on people as well as creative, concentrating on the growth of the organization and the individuals within the Strategy & Design group, while also leading design teams through complex experience projects. I am devoted to support the career growth of my teams through direct project experience, training, mentorship and collaboration. In my nearly two decades of industry experience and leadership, it’s a responsibility I have embraced and was most likely born to do. In my current role, I have led design efforts as a Creative Director for a wide variety of clients including Discover, McDonald’s, Northwestern Mutual, Smiths Medical, Abbott, BCBS, AbbVie, Allstate and Walgreens. Specific responsibilities include:– Developing team members, working with human resources and team leads to build programs for training and career growth focused on individual skills and strengths– Assessing and building onto the skills that exist within the group to strengthen the capabilities of the organization– Collaborating with Project Management, Team Leads, Practice Directors and Central Staffing to assure each project is staffed to achieve optimal success– Operational alignment of the Strategy & Design Group by reporting financial outlook and team health– Business development support, contributing to points of view, proposals, work planning, project approach and pitches, as well as aligning resources to the pursuitsLeading design teams for Employee Engagement & Digital Workspace solutions, while overseeing discovery and design with Content Strategy, Change Enablement, User Experience and Visual Design team members, furthermore collaborating with Technical Architects and Front-End Developers
