About Tim Stevenson

CEng FIMMM MInstNDT. Co founder and CEO of Ionix Advanced Technologies, specialising in piezo materials and ultrasonic testing (UT), condition/corrosion monitoring and transducer design/manufacture for extreme environments, including oil and gas, energy and aerospace sectors. Technology business leader with extensive and specialised experience in industrial instrumentation and sensing sector. Responsible for strategic planning, development and delivery of safety critical products in a fast moving technology environment.Previously a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Leeds since completing my Ph.D in 2010, developing high-temperature piezoelectric metrology, and the design of extreme environment ultrasonic sensors. Awarded Gold and the title of “Early Research Career Engineer” at Westminster in 2011 for impact on UK research, and in 2019 nominated a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
