As an intern at Sherwin-Williams, my duties were to shadow and learn from the manager of my assigned store. I learned the overall basics of the store and how to operate through the manager's eyes and perspective, absorbing as much information as possible. This experience provided me with valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of a retail establishment, particularly in the realm of paint and coatings. During my time at Sherwin-Williams, I had the opportunity to have Customer Interaction: I actively engaged with customers, assisting them in finding the right products for their needs. This experience improved my customer service skills and taught me the importance of building positive relationships with clients.Inventory Management: I gained hands-on experience in managing inventory levels, ensuring that the store was well-stocked with popular products while minimizing overstock of slower-moving items. This task honed my organizational and logistical skills.Color Consultation: I assisted customers in selecting paint colors and provided guidance on color coordination for their projects. This allowed me to develop a keen eye for color matching and design aesthetics.Product Knowledge: I delved deep into product knowledge, learning about various paint types, finishes, and applications.
