The Dean of Students is a key senior leadership position within the Division of Student Affairs and the University. As Dean of Students I promote student success and retention using a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging lens by implementing a robust CARE team and case management process, a student- and campus community-focused student conduct process, an emphasis on academic integrity, and strong collaboration with campus partners.It is my role to serve as a primary student advocate and to support the Division of Student Affairs and Vice President for Student Affairs through oversight and leadership of several functional areas, including but not limited to Student Conduct and Case Management, TRIO Programs (Student Support Services, Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math & Science), the Office of Student Development, and chairs the University's CARE Team and co-chairs the Bias Incident Response Team. Additionally, this role supports compliance for state and federal regulations, including Title IX, the Clery Act, and the Drug Free Schools and Campuses Act.

I am responsible for both the long term strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the Enrollment Management office at Saint Paul. I am also charged with directing our marketing and branding efforts and to tell the story of our newly merged school to all constituencies. Additionally, I oversee key institutional events such as Commencement, New Student Orientation, and Open House.

As Assistant Principal, I am responsible for managing the student life program which includes school traditions, clubs and organizations, leadership development, new student experience programs, and discipline. I supervise a team of Class Deans and report to the Head of School as part of his leadership team. In the classroom, I teach a Concepts of Leadership course as a part of our Interdisciplinary Studies offerings.

*This role transitioned to Assistant Principal at Saint Paul when St. Peter-Marian was merged with Holy Name. Under the leadership of Principal, I was responsible for the oversight and management of student life including clubs and organizations, athletics, and discipline and strive to maintain a school community for students to thrive both in and outside of the classroom.

In this newly created position, I brought together the offices of Student Leadership & Programming and Residential Life & Housing to form the new unit; Campus Life. In addition to overall management of the unit, I served the primary staff member responsible for new student orientation, coordinated our students of concern process, chaired the sexual offense hearing board and University Conduct Board, played a leadership role in key institutional events, engaged in emergency response and protocol, maintained a caseload of students, and served in a leadership role in the Division of Student Affairs.

Responsible to lead the department which manages 130 clubs & organizations and 1,600 plus events a year, plans and organizes new student orientation, and creates and implements leadership development programs. I serve on various University committees such as Student Issues (students of concern), Safety Committee, and Social Media Users Group. I am also a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team.

Chair the Conference Planning Team comprised of 13 volunteer professionals, propose and manage conference budget, coordinate with host site (University of Massachusetts - Lowell), and ensure successful conference experience for 250 attendees including professionals, graduate students, undergraduate students, and those from the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the New Student Orientation programs; advising the programming board; overseeing all event scheduling and support in the 55,000 square foot Campus Center; management of departmental communications,websites and social media and supervision the Coordinator who works with all clubs and organizations and their registration, training, and policy enforcement.Promoted from Coordinator to Assistant Director in 2009 and from Assistant to Associate Director in 2012.

Instructor for freshmen level course SPT 202: The Economics of Sport and for junior level course SPT 350: Sport Finance and Management

Assist in all aspects of Orientation programs for first year students and transfer students including supervision and training of OTeamers, Parent Orientation, and serve as the in hall staff person during Orientation.

Program Advise over 70 student organizations (including Greek Organizations). I also taught a leadership course and was a University Representative on an Alternative Spring Break Habitat for Humanity trip in Arkansas.
