Norwich Cathedral has a robust governance structure that includes the College of Canons, which scrutinises the work of the Cathedral and provides input from the wider Diocese and other areas of Christian ministry. There are twelve Lay Canons, three of which sit on Chapter and so are more closely engaged in the running of the Cathedral.

The Foundation has been established to work alongside and support the work of the Norfolk Museums service and partner organisations by securing funds to develop new initiatives and projects. The current focus of attention is on raising funds to support the redevelopment of the historic keep at Norwich Castle Museum as a significant visitor attraction in East Anglia.

Last year we provided a safe home and support for 623 young people in Norfolk and opportunities for them to develop their confidence and life skills to progress to independent living.*We believe every family should have the support they need to develop and lead more fulfilling lives.We provide parenting programmes and support to help families live together well, and we provide crisis support where this is not happening. *We believe everyone should enjoy the benefits of health and wellbeing.We support young people with their mental health through Mental Health First Aid delivery, counselling, therapeutic interventions and peer mentoring.Our values are at the core of what we do and influence our behaviours, activities and policies. Responsible for development of YMCA assets and programme. Secured funding for new social housing developments and project managed delivery. Developed programme opportunities in youth and children's work including youth activities, playschemes and after school clubs. Organisational development work included creating and implementing strategy.

Responsible for governance of the English National Council of YMCAs. Chair of the Development and Housing Committee from 2003, with delegated responsibility for oversight of 1000 units of supported accommodation nationwide.

Grew and managed a housing related support service for a 150-bed direct access hostel in east London, including assessment and resettlement workers and an Approved Social Worker. Managed a higher-education based peer mentoring scheme.

Managed a six-bed community housing project for 16 and 17 year olds with additional support needs. Delivered housing related support and housing management at a 26-bed supported housing scheme. Engaged in partnership working with local stakeholders, particularly churches.
