Responsible for all aspects of a small youth homelessness charity with 220+ annual beneficiaries, a turnover of £260,000+, 6 Trustees, 6 staff and approximately 15 regular volunteers. Key Successes:- transformation of the charity through providing a business strategy and executing it;- significantly raising the profile of the charity and its work, thus creating a network of support and new resources / funding; - the creation of three collaborative county-wide working relationships; - the redefinition, re-energising and development of existing services;- extensive stakeholder engagement and networking to build credibility; - diversification of income streams to reduce reliance on local authority and grant based funding; - a switch from a restricted-funding model to an primarily unrestricted funding model. Full time electronics buying role / graduate trainee programme participant. Responsible for all aspects of procurement of semiconductor commodity working for Neil Quirk - a real mentor and Semis guru. Where I learned all I know about Semiconductor allocation and beating market shortages - invaluable experience for my later career at Xerox !!
