30+ years in the international Healthcare industry working in many sectors, including pharmaceuticals, generics, medical devices, medical communications and nutraceuticals, has equipped me with a wide skill set.My roles have been based in a number of areas including: Manufacturing, Business Development, Product Development, Supply Chain and Company Management.These roles have also given me a good understanding of Regulatory Affairs, GMP, GLP, GDP, QC, QA and Product Management.I have worked with medical professionals to set-up and run companies, enabling the successful development of their intellectual property, from business start-up, product development, manufacture sourcing, strategic operational control and licensing negotiations.My manufacturing experience spans a wide area of both hands-on and contract manufacturing work, and includes: small volume parenterals, large volume parenterals, unit dose, aseptic manufacture, terminal sterilised products, preserved systems, medical devices (mechanical and single-use), packaging design and implementation. This experience has been in both clinical and commercial manufacture.Through the implementation of effective Supply Chain management I have successfully worked through cost reduction exercises and managed the activities at a number of contract testing, manufacturing facilities and suppliers.With the successful establishment of strategic licensing partnerships on a global scale, I have gained a wealth of experience of dealing with both large and small companies through the licensing of products.
