Planned and executed environmental and social sustainability projects for marquee convention, sports, and entertainment events and venues. Work included Super Bowl, College Football Playoff, SoFi Stadium & Hollywood Park, and Sustainable Sport Index. Experienced with certifications like ISO 20121 Sustainable Event Management certification, Council for Responsible Sport, LEED, and the Event Industry Council's Sustainable Event Standards.

Led enterprise efforts of environmental volunteerism, charitable giving, and community affairs for a privately owned company with $21B in annual revenue and 50,000 employees through a family of businesses in communications, automotive and mobility, clean technology, healthcare, and sustainability industries. He built national strategies for employee engagement and environmental nonprofit management and was responsible for signature programs including Cox Conserves Heroes, Chairman’s Challenge, and a 2034 social sustainability goal.

Tim served on the executive leadership team guiding long-term social and environmental strategy for a 220+ acre campus that includes the 4M SF convention center, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the former Georgia Dome, Centennial Olympic Park, and the upcoming Signia by Hilton hotel. GWCCA also operates the Savannah Convention Center in Savannah, GA. In this role, he oversaw a team focused on executing day-to-day practices including waste diversion and volunteerism. Tim also helped develop and led the organization’s first Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) council.Tim was responsible for creating the organization's first comprehensive corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy. This effort resulted in a new focus on outreach, philanthropy, and volunteerism. While in this role, Tim led the LEED recertification for the GWCC making it the largest LEED Gold convention center in the world. He has represented the Authority on a number of sustainability-related public-private partnerships including Mercedes-Benz Stadium (the first LEED Platinum professional sports stadium in the world), the decommissioning of the Georgia Dome, the installation of more than 4,000 solar PV panels, and the administration of a $28 million energy savings performance contract.Tim was Sustainability Chair of the 2013 and 2020 NCAA Men's Final Four, the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, and held that same role for Super Bowl LIII (2019).

Developed and instructed the Sustainable Operations in Hospitality (HADM 8550) class of the Master's of Global Hospitality Management program.

Led the Global Context of Sustainability courses in the online Master’s of Sustainability Leadership program through ASU’s School of Sustainability.

Managed projects seeking green building certifications and sustainability consulting for organizations hoping to reduce environmental impacts and increase the bottom line. Tim had direct experience implementing various LEED rating systems (Schools, Core and Shell, New Construction and Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance) and has provided existing building owners and property managers numerous gap analyses to determine minimum cost and ability to achieve green building certifications.
