As a result, individuals and families often overpay for college and/or end up with significant and unnecessary student loan debt.After spending a decade researching the challenges that many students and their families face when choosing an academic path, the founders of Choose It Right developed a highly effective system to help families easily find and choose the right college. Moreover, it helps them make sound financial decisions regarding higher education – thus strengthening their financial wellness.With between 16 and 20 million students expected to attend college each year, there’s an urgent need for financial education about higher education, so that families can avoid the same mistakes that millions of others have already made resulting in unnecessary student loans and a lifetime of debt, which have contributed to a nationwide student loan crisis of $1.6 trillion.Choose It Right was established to help families understand that they’re making a 20 or 40 year decision and not a 2 or 4 year decision.
