Constructed the company's flagship project from start to finish while drawing national media attention including, Discovery Channel, Weather Channel, the filming of Steve Thomas's (this old house) latest TV show "Renovation Nation" as featured on "Planet Green" (now known as the "Destination America" Channel) and meeting the LEED for homes GOLD standards. I eventually was asked to start and run the company's Geothermal division since HVAC experience was in my work background and there was little new work coming in within the company's scope of project experience during the economic and banking collapse of 2008.

Oversaw roughly 10M worth of Mechanical and Plumbing Construction operations simultaneously and singlehandedly in the Florida Panhandle while directly managing a fluctuation of 43 - 53 field employees with no experienced field superintendents. Projects included Compass Point 1 & 2 condominiums, Watersound Gatehouse, Rosemary Beach Private Residence Club, Sandestin Grand Condominiums, Sandestin Residence Inn by Marriott, Sandestin Courtyard by Marriott, & Bay County Outpatient Medical Center. Our Florida operations received no assistance from the main Mobile, AL office to complete every aspect of these projects. Responsibilities involved: HR, site mobilization, project management, field layout (reading the blueprints on behalf of inexperienced help), scheduling, estimating, shipping, receiving, materials procurement, contract negotiations, contract management, new business development, warranty, customer relations, local marketing, buydowns, safety, quality control, housing management (paying rent and utilities) for all of our out of state employees working in town. The silver lining with this company, it taught me how to single-handedly run a mechanical contracting company and what fatal mistakes to avoid.

As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager in the Palm Beach / Broward County region of Florida, I oversaw all plumbing and mechanical operations on a project and estimating level Including Delray Medical Center, Florida Medical Center, Columbia Hospital, Lynn University, City Center Bank, Tenet Care Outpatient medical center & Don King Jai-ali arena. The most organized and well operated company I have ever worked for.

Started working with this company when I first moved to Atlanta, GA to attend Southern Polytechnic State University and enter into their Construction Management program. I Began as a field sheetmetal installer on the Cartoon Network Building in Atlanta, then 300 Park Avenue building in Buckhead, then 244 Washington St. (a government building in Atlanta) eventually working my way to an assistant estimator in the office and finally a field office coordinator for the 1,500,000 sq ft Georgia World Congress Center expansion. I left this company to complete my senior project in College as balancing both college and this job was too overwhelming.

As a young fellow I worked for this company as my first construction job while simultaneously attending college as a plumbing and Sheetmetal helper. After some time I began running ductwork on my own after learning how to read mechanical drawings. I stopped working at this company because the company was based out of North Carolina and their local projects ended while I was still a College Student.
