Start-up company in advising domestic entertainment, retail, and catering companies.

‘Acquire higher customer satisfaction by effective use of internal and external communication’.Was the subject of my Bachelor thesis for BT Global Services. During my period as a graduate intern, people were restricted to work at the office. For me, this led to the opportunity of speaking with people all over the world about the research topic. It was also very interesting to hear thoughts on the covid-19 situation from people in other continents. Overall my graduate period was a great learning experience. The final result: 7.5/10!

During my gap year, I got the opportunity to work as a Marketing Communications Specialist for the company Arsenaal 1824. This was one of the first times I was able to use the knowledge I acquired during my study in real-life business situations. One of the major projects was the implementation of a new reservation system named Resengo.Other cases I worked on were setting up a Google Adwords campaign, optimize the website and keep track of mail and social media traffic.

During this internship, I gained a lot of experience on how to support marketing and sales teams. While I was an intern at Berendsen, the company was acquired by a French company called Elis. This led to major challenges for the whole company which made the internship period ever more interesting.

We created a small company where the household effects of catering companies and various offices were bought and sold by us. The sales went mostly through advertising online, photographing all the items, writing advertisement texts, cold acquisition, arranging appointments on location, planning, and closing the deals.

Preparation and support before and during the well-known 4 Daagse Feesten.This included arranging artist and providing music during the four-day event.

Promoting and selling tickets for weekly and monthly youth events. Mostly through social media and word of mouth sales.
