Since January 2018, I've been part of the multidisciplinary Functional Support team of the Financial Service Centre within NN. Responsible for the General Ledger application (Peoplesoft 9.2) and other related applications. I work in close alignment with technical colleagues to facilitate the everyday business (Accounting) and other BizDevOps teams like Robotics and Date WareHouse.Apart from solving day-to-day business questions and incidents, some of the larger projects are:- A smooth transition from Peoplesoft 9.1 to 9.2 - Integrating the General Ledger within NN (from all different countries NN is operating in).- Creating a near-realtime interface with the DWH to allow stakeholders greater efficiency.Through Agile methodology I and the team maintain a secure, stable GL platform and analyze business processes to transform them to run them more efficiently, either within Peoplesoft or as a multi-team effort.

As of November 1st 2017, Genpact Consulting Services BV has been acquired by Technology2Enjoy. I am very happy and excited to be part of promising new journey as T2EN has set out a challenging new strategy which means new opportunities for all consultants and parties involved.

Currently in the role of Junior Consultant at Genpact Enterprise Applications Europe (EAE), specializing in Business Intelligence. After completing Genpact's Young Talent Program which started in June 2016 and lasted for 6 weeks, previous projects were, chronologically:- Taking inventory, classifying and providing insights in the report database (IBM Cognos 8) at a municipality in the Netherlands.- Performing maintenance in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) for a governmental organization in the Netherlands. - Been part of a business development team for a multinational prospect. Goal of the team is creating a demo in Anaplan, a planning and analyzing cloud-based solution, where to processes are redesigned from excel into Anaplan.- Reworking Crystal Reports to BI Publisher for a large retailer based in Zaandam. During this time I worked closely with the project manager and also coordinated timelines with another team in Poland.- Since May 2017 I have been working as first line functional support in Peoplesoft for an international bank where we address and solve issues brought forward by users from many different countries.Before entering the Talent Program performed data cleansing for a large multinational company which was in the process of a worldwide migration to SAP. To make a smooth transition the different legacy systems they work with have to be cleansed, which translates to analyzing, enriching and reorganizing erroneous data and error reports. Also tasked with creating of new customers and vendors in SAP. Project ended mid-June 2016.

Nielsen is present in over 100 countries and is the world’s leading marketing and media information company. The department of Sales Effectiveness is advising existing and new clients on a project base on specific marketing and sales issues, like price, promotion, media and assortment. We help our clients optimize their performance in these fields by using information from multiple sources (for example store by store data, media data and consumer information). My role is to support the Client Executives in their day-to-day duties. I am responsible for the set up of projects and coordinate this with the modeling teams in Turkey, Poland and India. Because each project is different, being on top of the process is crucial. After receiving the output, I develop actionable insights to provide the client executives with presentations that are delivered to FMCG manufacturers and retailers.

The Live Imaging Service provides manufacturers and retailers in FMCG markets with product pictures and a database on a quarterly basis for different categories. Incidentally complete categories have to be processed with as much as a thousand products. The images are used in the Nielsen space management software SpaceMan. Live Imaging falls under the department of Sales Effectiveness at Nielsen. My role is to purchase new or changed products and to process these into a database. The products are also photographed and resized using Photoshop Elements. As my experience grew, so did my responsibilities. Currently I conduct the complete process on my own. This includes a.o. setting up the product list, checking the images in Spaceman and entering the receipt information so that invoices can be produced.

The department Retailer Services provides advice and maintains relationships with Dutch retailers in the markets of Food, Drug, Perfumery, Liquor, Petrol and E-commerce. My role as Research Assistant was to update and check the numerous reports that were sent to the different retailers every four-week period. In addition to these tasks I also provided the client executives with any ad-hoc queries or reports they needed.

In this role the largest part of my time went into the creating of a report that was purchased by many retailers and manufacturers in FMCG. I turned the large excel output of market research into actionable insights in powerpoint for the interested parties. Other tasks were creating a structured overview of possible services the department offered, setting up research specifics for the modeling teams and other tasks to relieve the client executives. Because of the satisfaction of both parties with the working relationship, the internship was extended.
