My strengths are are in the areas of relationship-building (customer relationship management), event coordination and being organized (time management and managing shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment). As a liaison between my organization and its volunteer members, I seek to find win-win scenarios requiring strategy, care and persuasion.What is your role at your current workplace?My role in this position is to work closely with volunteer members of our branches and divisions in helping them carry out various initiatives that meet the objectives of our organization’s 3-year strategic plan. More specifically, I help them to reach and exceed their yearly goals to ensure that they provide maximum value for members. I serve as their primary contact and ‘trusted advisor’ by providing operational guidance that ensures they are all running smoothly. A large portion of my duties include event management and event promotion through electronic newsletters for approximately 100 events per year. On a yearly basis, I coordinate our annual conference trade show and in doing so I have built solid relationships with many companies that return as exhibitors every year.What else can you tell me so that I know more about you?My motto is to work diligently (and consistently) to continually improve processes to achieve higher productivity and always aim to add value to my team and organization. Regarding my attitude and mindset, I say without hesitation that it is empowering and growth-focused.
