For the last decade and a half I have built and maintained an award winning portrait business. I am a long standing member of PPA (Portrait Photographers of America), have taught classes to other photographers, and won many competitions with work being showcased internationally (galleries in Barcelona, and Berlin). My focus with the studio has been to follow the boutique business mode, which means high attention to client experience and satisfaction as well as high-end products.My business has always been set apart from others by our design process. First we plan the session, then we have the portrait session. Next is the design session, where clients come to the studio, and we project their images on to a 10x10' wall while lounging on a comfortable couch, where we view everything in actual size. At the design session we pick out the final images that are going to be printed as wall art by using images of the client's home walls to show them what images from their session will look like hanging in their house. Finally, once the printed art arrives, I personally hang their work in their home for a perfect display.

The cruise ship Showband musician is, simply put, a badass. That’s because you’d be hard-pressed to find another performance-based job, on land or at sea, that demands such a diverse skill set. Showband musicians must have the ability to sight-read and improvise well, and equally important, the versatility to perform many different styles (rock, pop, jazz, funk, Latin) and to assimilate a large amount of music in a short amount of time. It is, essentially, the ocean’s equivalent of the studio musician. Showbands are generally used to play Vegas-style production shows, accompany headlining entertainers, and to perform rock and jazz sets for guests; the wide variety of music, as well as the opportunity to play with many other talented musicians, makes this job both challenging and highly rewarding.Saxophonists must have excellent reading skills, a keen awareness of dynamics, phrasing and intonation, and strong jazz improv skills. Teach graduate and undergraduate applied clarinet. Maintain a national/international profile, recruit/maintain a strong clarinet studio, and be a contributing member of the faculty.
