In the spring of 2022, my Dad was experiencing acute health issues. After living independently well into his 90s, it was clear his days of living on his own were, sadly, coming to a close. Suddenly, my family was faced with the daunting task of navigating senior care and assisted living options. Having never been in this situation before – and needing to come up with a plan quickly – it was an overwhelming, stressful experience.It got me thinking. Having spent 20 years in the recruitment field, matching hundreds of people with the right jobs at companies across Massachusetts, could I leverage my professional and personal experiences to help families dealing with similar circumstances? In the fall of 2023, I joined Senior Care Authority®, a values-driven leader in the eldercare industry, to launch their first location in Massachusetts.Now, I have the privilege of working with older adults and their families.
