Managing a team of nine, of which four are direct reports, Responsible to fulfill pre-production part orders and accompanying process maturation activities, culminating in proof of capacity at run at rate events.

Provide plastic product engineering support on a variety of projects and customers. Actively supported Volkswagen, Honda, Nissan, and Toyota projects. Products include, plastic energy absorbers, underbody panels, plastic wheel liners, and a truck tailgate liner.

Garnered extensive working experience with Volkswagen. Launched two separate door handle programs at Volkswagen de Mexico (Puebla, MX). On these projects I served as a combined Program Manager and Product Engineer. I managed all program deliverables, engineering deliverables, and was the customer's primary contact point.Following VW programs, I worked on development of a complete door handle and chassis system for Chrysler. BOM P/N's exceed 65 with 8 tier-two suppliers. I managed design development, DVP&R and drawing creation.

I worked on the 2010 & 2011 S197 ATX Shifter Control Assembly. I was product design responsible for 13 new functional (electromechanical) and decorative components which integrate with existing carryover structural components, including a complete functional knob design. Responsible for production release of component drawings which include all product specifications and GD&T. Managed successful completion of DV and PV testing.I was awarded a US patent for a preliminary design concept on a 2013 Chrysler C-Sedan ATX Shifter Control Assembly. Design was assembled as part of a quote activity and technical review.Additionally I was assigned Engineering design responsibility for multiple ongoing production programs while at Dura, including: • Ssangyong Motors ATX Shifter Control Assembly. I was an integral team member in implementing Lean standards/methodology on the mfg. line. Also, I was responsible for ongoing product engineering changes – typically product quality improvements, and elimination of ongoing re-work.• GM-Lambda ATX Shifter Control Assembly (GMT 966, 967 & 968). I provided ongoing Product Engineer support for programs already in production, including managing all warranty return part evaluations (GM 5-phase) across the three shifter assemblies. I was responsible for implementing product engineering changes as a result of warranty returns or cost reduction activities, including customer drawing updates and deliverables.

Lear's Interior System's division was purchased by IAC in March, 2007. This was a company name change only. No change in roles or responsibilities.
