Support the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) commander by conducting airborne electronic warfare, day or night, under all weather conditions during Expeditionary, Joint, or Combined operations.During my time here I am responsible for all aspects of avionics and ordnance maintenance management in a production facility for six aircraft. Followed operational risk management procedures while managing the company in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws resulting in zero mishaps. Managed over $300 million of equipment which was a combination of test equipment, tools and items installed and removed from the aircraft. Ensured all items were accounted for resulting in no survey requests for missing items were needed. One key aspect of the job was human resource management by providing recommendations of personnel being retained, promoted, disciplinary action and if they were suitable for internal or external jobs. Supervised the counseling of four intermediate down line supervisors to ensure that their employees were counseled on actions, work ethics and recommendations for improvement. Submitted recommendations for awards when employees went above and beyond their job. I provided training to all employees on current polices, benefits programs, transition programs that were applicable to them and their families. In the first six months of working here, the company was assigned to an overseas location in which a key program fell under both Marine Corps and Air Force publications and policies. During this time, I managed the program ensuring all requirements of both programs were adhered to and scored a 100% on the Air Force inspection and 100% on two Marine Corps inspections that were conducted. Submitted reports on a weekly and monthly basis, ensured security of all items was followed and destroyed material as required to comply with National Security Agency directives.

CNATT Unit Cherry Point provides aviation maintenance specialized training to operate and maintain weapon systems and sub-systems supporting: •First and second echelon level maintenance AV-8B Harrier and C-130J C/KC-130J Hercules aircraft•Cryogenics Communities•Second echelon repair level for avionics•First and second echelon level maintenance Aviation OrdnanceI was assigned as the Instructional Systems Development Manager in charge of the five curriculum model managers, two maintenance administration support personnel and one test equipment manager.During my tenure here, I was a pioneer in streamlining the administration burden of paperwork into digital forms that were signed and routed electronically via email or SharePoint. Over 15 forms were digitized resulting in a savings of approximately $3,000 and 500 man hours annually. I managed six Center of Naval Aviation Technical Training (CNATT) Marine Unit (MARUNIT) Maintenance Training Units (MTU) curriculum, courseware, media, revisions, annual course reviews for 76 CNATT MARUNIT courses to ensure their continued modernization, accuracy and effectiveness.I also managed and supervised 130 instructors training, qualifications and certification process.Manager, writer, developer, editor and reviewer for 18 company standard operating procedures. While assigned as the course supervisor, I was responsible for 14 instructors who taught avionics theory for 131 adult students that are the replacements for employees who are leaving the Marine Corps. As the course supervisor, certified to teach in all six courses on instruction in avionics communication, navigation and secured communications.On multiple occasions, reviewed each course of instruction to ensure the material being taught was still relevant to the customer, training aids were in a serviceable condition. Managed the removal of all unserviceable training aids in order to be repaired and located replacement training aids in order for training to still be conducted. Observed 18 announced and unannounced instructor evaluations to gauge the performance of the instructor and the material being taught. Counseled each instructor after the evaluation on both positive and negative items that were noted. Provided evaluations to students by conducting counseling, mentoring sessions and guided discussions. Ensured all students understand what the expectations were of each course of instruction. Recommend awards and disciplinary actions as needed. While working here, I identify several areas of concern which lead into a AIRSpeed (5s) event which was to properly dispose over $45,000 worth of outdated technology that was no longer in use by our customers nor conducive to the learning environment. As an AIRSpeed (Lean Six Sigma) Greenbelt, I led one rapid improvement event to reduce time spent on administrative processes resulting in a savings of 2,500 man hours per year.Personally ensured operational risk management and safety issues were discussed on a regular basis and that all laboratory evolutions were in compliance with applicable safety directives.
