•Responsible for the execution of projects in terms of customer and company satisfaction. •Main interface between the Customer and Tenneco with great visibility inside and outside of the company. •Identify problems and resolution during the project by highlighting potential areas of concern and driving resolution of issues that affect project execution. •Translate customer needs and requirements into detailed project plans; execution of those plans; management of cross functional teams; project profitability; and development of customer relationships.•Define project requirements, schedules, deployment plans, and resource needs to carry projects from start to finish, or concept through final production.•Develop project plans including work breakdown, project milestones, critical path analyses, risk management, cost/benefit analysis, staffing plans, project timelines, and project budgets.•Assemble, develop and manage project team, including NPIS and/or APQP teams.•Ensure project milestones are met on time and within team and project budget.•Focus on process improvement and documentation.•Work with a multi discipline team - requires ability to manage a large variety of projects as well as the leadership skills to track, enforce and foster the project team's progress.•Deliver projects to both the customer's and Tenneco's satisfaction.•Drive decisions to ensure success of the program taking into account timing, investment, profitability, reliability and design integrity. Financial decisions should be EVA driven.
