Quality assurance of translated training material

The overall aim of the project was to study relations between genetics, structural & functional brain measures and behavior during early development. My work was focused on genes affecting the dopamine system, structural and functional brain measures, working memory and problem behavior in a longitudinal sample of children and adolescents. In August 2011 I received a COFAS/Marie Curie fellowship to support my work under the title: "Working memory development and risk for psychopathology."

My PhD project in Utrecht was part of the Dutch Predicition of Psychosis Study (DUPS). The aim was to gain moire insight into potential neurobiological markers for psychosis, which in turn can help in predicting the onset of psychosis and ultimately aid in prevention of psychosis. To achieve this we combined information from various assessment methods over time in adolescents with a well-defined high-risk profile and by comparing them with typically developing adolescents. Research assistant. Recruiting & neuropsychological assessment of children diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Outpatient supervision of children with a psychiatric disorder and/or severe mental handicap. Workgoals vary from educational and parental support to stimulation of individual creativity and problem-solving.
