I work with colleagues across the Trust to develop information literacy in the context of Evidence Based Practice, I represent the Trust with 'The Knowledge Network', based in NHS Education Scotland and ensure we have access to high quality eResources. Colleagues can contact me with a wide range of enquiries related to finding resources and support with academic skills and research skills. I provide training in information literacy to all interested parties and work closely with the Education team in the Improvement Academy to ensure Evidence Based Practice is part of the training offer.

Managed the delivery of a wide range of skills services for the library to all students at the University of Derby. Prior to taking on this role and continuing to do so alongside managing the skills service, I managed the provision of a full library service at the Chesterfield site. Here I developed a unique and award winning one-stop shop approach for students to gain access to a wide range of university services, from library to wellbeing support and from skills support to pastoral care.

Started of as educational librarian to reestablish the school-library. Moved on to do more educational-informatics work: provided training to end-users of the virtual learning environment (vle), was part of the IT-workgroup and IT-strategy group. Set up a library plan for a new building. Assisted in choosing a new vle and designing the IT-infrastructure for the new building.
