Tim is a partner in KPMG LLP which is the U.S. firm of the KPMG global organization of independent professional services firms providing audit, tax and advisory services. The KPMG global organization operates in 146 countries and territories and has close to 227,000 people working in member firms around the world. Tim is KPMG LLP’s leader for Tax Alliances where he works with alliance partners to provide tax-centered transformational services that combine emerging technologies with tax and business knowledge. Tim is a member of KPMG LLP’s and KPMG America’s Board of Directors and chairs its Operations Committee. From 2015 to 2021 Tim served as KPMG’s New York Metro Partner-in-Charge of Tax. In this role Tim was responsible for nearly one thousand professionals in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, who provide services to KPMG’s clients in the geography. Tim has over 30 years of public accounting experience, working in numerous operating offices and KPMG’s Washington National Tax Practice. Tim was the Partner-in-Charge (PIC) of KPMG’s tax practice in Pittsburgh, National PIC of Tax Knowledge Management, National PIC of KPMG's Accounting Methods and Credit Services Group, the National Retail Industry Tax Sector Leader for KPMG and the lead tax partner on many of KPMG most prestigious accounts. Tim is a graduate of KPMG’s Chairman’s 25 leadership program, was a member of KPMG’s Strategic Investments Council and KPMG’s Global Knowledge Steering Committee. Tim earned his undergraduate degree (BSBA) in accounting from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and a master’s degree in taxation from Villanova University in 1996. Tim has co-authored numerous articles in tax periodicals. Tim is a CPA, PMP, and NACD Directorship Certified.Tim is a member of the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau (BBB) Serving Metropolitan New York; A member of Villanova School of Business Dean's Advisory Council; and a lifetime member of Healthcare Businesswomen's Association.
