I am an experienced Chief Financial Officer with over 30 years of financial accounting experience in both public and private accounting. I provide leadership and mentoring in financial best practices to achieve strategic objectives and growth outcomes.I currently serve as CFO for MacDonald Ventures after a successful exit at Peerfit Inc., a Tampa start-up, where I served as CFO. Peerfit was sold to FitOn Inc. in February 2022. Prior to Peerfit, I served as CFO of myMatrixx which was sold to Fortune 100 Express Scripts in May 2017. I began my career at Arthur Andersen gaining experience in a wide range of industries including healthcare, technology and the service industry. I later went on to serve in key roles where I built and maintained the financial accounting infrastructure and adopted best practices to successfully grow businesses. I am a CPA and have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Florida. I believe in giving back to the community and currently serve as Past President for LAMPLighters Tampa which is a non-profit organization serving homeless and foster children in our community. I have held many other volunteer leadership roles over the years including Board Chair for Dawning Family Services, formally Alpha House of Tampa, for two years, Florida Parent co-chair for Samford University for over two years, serving Girl Scouts as a co-leader and/or treasurer for six years and serving Berkeley Preparatory School as track and field team mom for 3 years.
