I started my career as a Medical assistant in local South Florida doctors offices. Mostly pediatric and primary care. While in nursing school I worked as a unit secretary at a local HCA hospital Emergency Department. After graduating from nursing school, I remained at the same hospital and became a charge nurse in the Emergency Department. After maternity leave in 2010, I furthered my career and education by taking my TNCC and worked for a large level 2 Trauma center in South Florida. Our family was forced to relocate in 2012 and I started working at the largest Level 1 Trauma Center in Northeast Florida, UF Health Jacksonville, and I am presently a Charge Nurse for the emergency Department.
