Unity Holdings, Inc., and its subsidiaries have been going through organizational optimization efforts with the objective to maximize best in class manufacturing and improve talent management processes. As the Vice President of Human Resources, I led efforts to develop and implement organizational strategies including strategic planning, talent assessment, succession planning, change management, team building and leadership development. Through our work, we were able to position our two of our companies into marketable organizations. Recently, the two organizations were acquired in an equity sale bringing a substantial increase to our ESOP employee owners.

• Responsible for developing and executing the talent management/L&D strategy and program delivery for the corporation which includes 8 operating subsidiaries with 3500+ employees. • Demonstrated success in consulting with operating companies’ Leaders to identify HR, leadership development, talent and staffing needs and to effectively apply a “solution methodology” to their talent management needs to impact their business results. • Directly lead the leadership development/talent management strategy that aligns with the organization’s business objectives with proven measurable outcomes. • Execute our learning and development strategy by developing policies, analysis, tools, manuals, and other educational materials for successful implementation of programs; Coordinating L&D with divisional leaders to ensure consistency and harmonization across Otter Tail; Executing the training process utilizing internal and external expertise as needed.• Design and deliver leadership development curriculum integrating blended learning strategies, adult learning principles and e-learning solutions. • Manage required leadership/stakeholder analysis, impact analysis and communication plan.

•Directly lead the implementation, execution and continued growth of the DMS Health Group Learn Center •Develops operating plans consistent with DMS priorities partnering with and supporting the DMS Health Group Executive Leadership team. Engages key stakeholders in the development of learning strategies to meet future business needs. Responsible for designing, developing and delivering all programs to meet the established goals and objectives. Responsible for all aspects of sales training and leadership development/succession planning training including but not limited to needs analysis, curriculum design, vendor management, facilitation and other critical activities. Consults regularly with line, teams and individuals to develop globally consistent learning solutions to respond to specific needs, leadership development, colleague engagement, and business improvement.Project lead for the rollout and execution of Microsoft CRM.

• Identified, planned and implemented HRMS project to meet the strategic needs.• Supported and partnered with Executive team and shared responsibility for training, leadership development, sales and employee development and executing proactive HR strategies. Assisted in developing short and long-term leadership development strategies and programs for all current and upcoming company leaders. • Developed, implemented and led RDO’s Employee Opinion Survey process for 1300 employees.• Directly led the Performance Management Project, which included Behavioral Interviewing, Legalities of Hiring, Coaching/Feedback, Disciplinary Process and Termination. Developed, recommended and implemented Human Resource training and processes. This included research, recommendations, curriculum design and facilitation of this training program and all forms and processes for 200+ managers.• Developed and implemented Sexual Harassment/Respectful Workplace and Substance Abuse training for managers and 1300 employees. • .

• Provided Training and Human Resource functions such as recruiting at all levels, employee relations, coaching, succession planning etc. Provided Human Resources, recruiting and operational support and resources for Field Operations to General Managers, Area Directors, Franchise Representatives and Corporate Staff.• Was responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, counseling and developing staff into an effective and cohesive team of up to 40+ individuals at satellite locations.• Core responsibility of providing day-to-day leadership and management for the operations of Region 1 (67 hotels) and Tharaldson Property Management as a whole. • Developed and facilitated hotel operations training for Management Trainees in a classroom setting including but not limited to, Marketing/External Sales, Safety and Security, Revenue Management, Profitability, Human Resources (entire employee life cycle) and Facilities Management.
