Tina M. Schaefer is a trial lawyer with extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, product liability litigation, and complex litigation. Tina has litigated cases in state and federal courts across the country, including in some of the nation's most difficult jurisdictions. Her experience includes both multidistrict litigation and individual cases involving the defense of a firearms manufacturer in municipal firearms litigation, a major defense verdict for a well-known armaments manufacturer and government contractor, the dismissal of nearly 16,000 silica exposure cases, patent infringement litigation, pre-suit investigation and counseling for pharmaceutical clients, vaccine-related litigation in international jurisdictions, litigation audits, and work on the opioid litigation currently pending in various state courts and a federal MDL. Tina has extensive experience in smoking and health litigation and was involved in the management and trial of multiple “Engle Progeny” tobacco cases in Florida and served as second chair at trial. Recent matters have included asbestos litigation, vaping and health litigation pending in a federal MDL, and regulatory work for various clients.
