Tina is an operational finance professional with extensive experience leading teams of financial analysts in the performance of decision-support analysis, overseeing annual strategic planning/budgeting processes, and summarizing the results of monthly performance-versus-forecast variance analysis in a manner appropriate for senior management. She has served as a business partner with sales, marketing, editorial, and production executives, bringing a financial perspective to decision-making in those front-line functional areas. She is an effective communicator, able to present the results of complex financial analyses to non-financial executives in a clear and concise manner.During the summer of 2013 Tina relocated from New York City to Austin, Texas, and joined Adlucent as Finance Director. Adlucent is a performance-based retail marketing technology and analytics company focused on helping retailers deliver relevant online paid search advertising that converts. In 2013 Adlucent was named to Inc Magazine’s list of the 5000 fastest growing companies. Tina retired in July 2020.From 2009 - 2013 Tina served as Director of Finance in the USA division of Oxford University Press, the world’s largest university press. She was brought in to upgrade the division’s financial planning and analysis function to better serve the needs of senior management.Tina also has over ten years of experience with Time Inc., one of the largest branded media companies in the world. A highlight of her career there was her role as a member of the launch team overseeing the start-up of Real Simple magazine – now one of Time Inc.’s most successful brands. Tina has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Accounting from Louisiana State University. She earned her license as a CPA during her five-year tenure as an auditor with KPMG.
