Assimilated new pre-calculus curriculum plan based on new standards and research based on college requirements. Created curriculum for new math class. Curriculum involved the importance of savings, learning about hidden costs of loans and learning how to do taxes. Students have responded that they are already using these skills and is one of the most practical and useful classes they took.Twice received an award given by graduating seniors based on impact. 1 of 11 district employees to receive the award.

Responsibilities:Lead the plant level improvement process by gathering and analyzing data, evaluate improvement opportunities, and implementing improvement projects (capital and expense) in the areas of safety, environmental, productivity and quality for Epoxy Resin and Phenolics Plants.Accomplishments:Led team to evaluate and improve existing electrical system to comply with current electrical standards, improve reliability and develop mitigation plan for system failures.Created method to evaluate 150+ exchangers to prepare for maintenance turnaround and improve preventive maintenance strategy. Method was leveraged to other units within the business. Created and improved unit operating discipline for Epoxy Optimization Six Sigma Project which improved operational reliability and generated $35 million dollars increased revenue.Installed new caustic carbonate mixer as a result of frequent piping failure due to excessive vibration and monitored results after installation to ensure mixer had reduced piping vibration to acceptable level.Provided troubleshooting and start-up support for unit during upset conditions and hurricane outage.
