Since I took my Law degree in Uppsala, Sweden, I have been active in the UK financial sector, always with a primary focus on Asset Management. On the product side I have an in depth knowledge of illiquid private assets like private credit, real estate, infrastructure, private debt and agriculture, as well as actively managed equity & fixed income and most types of hedge funds.From 2000-2018 I headed up the Institutional Sales and Marketing to Northern Europe for a Swiss listed Asset manager, but in 2018 I decided to set up my own company and do consulting and part time work, take on a few board positions and invest in a select number of smaller businesses.Since mid 2023 my main focus is to be part of Optio Investment Partners, an originator and private credit platform, offering large asset backed companies a combination of tech optimisation and balance sheet off-loading. The first project is in the Auto space working with Volvo Cars on the car leasing side, where we are taking over the European vehicles on a country by country basis. On the side of this I am involved in a hotel building project and sitting on boards. Durring the last few years I have been involved with a Swedish PE company focusing on Real Estate as well being an Investment Strategist at Fiera Capital with focus on sales and marketing, international projects, including ESG and product development.
