Assistant Superintendent Of Instruction
Current-Oversee the operations of the Curriculum Department which includes Reading Specialists, Instructional Coaches and Curriculum Contract Specialists who are tasked with evaluating the alignment of current state learning standards to online curricula for a school of 40,000 students. Our Instructional Coaches work with our teachers to improve the quality of lessons delivered to students and serve as mentors and role models, helping teachers stay fresh and use the latest teaching techniques and technologies in their classrooms. -Manage the operations of our Assessments Department which includes our internal benchmarking team and our state assessment team. The benchmark team works to ensure benchmarks are written and aligned to state standards and are delivered for our instructional staff to use in the analysis of student mastery of state standards. The state assessment team manages the set up and execution of any state or federally mandated assessments. They also oversee many of the exams given throughout a school year including the PSAT, ACT, WIDA, and ASVAB.-Supervise three Managing Directors of Instruction. These leaders oversee multiple schools and manage the instructional quality of the principals and teachers within those teams.
