Senior System Engineer
CurrentOrion Spacecraft, NASA’s Artemis Program• Lead international sustainment efforts for the Orion program. Serve as Technology Transfer Controller (TTC) and International Coordinator (IC), ensuring long-term operational support for international customers while adhering to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) regulations. Manage Export Control System of Record (ITEX) and facilitate secure knowledge exchange with international partners. Collaborate with NASA and the European Service Module team to obtain U.S. Principal Party in Interest (USPPI) letters and process technical data transfers for compliance.• Spearhead international Java Mission Evaluation Workstation System (JMEWS) sustainment initiative. Serve as liaison for international partners (European Space Agency & Airbus), collaborating with cross-functional teams. Develop and configure a secure remote solution for long-term JMEWS access and supportability. Provide primary instruction, onboarding, and training for JMEWS users. Successfully managed a globally-diverse team of over 150 personnel, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful adoption of the JMEWS sustainment solution across all partner organizations.• Lead digital application sustainment initiatives through the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Assembly Test Launch Operations (ATLO), Ground Data Software, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Security, Production) to define project timelines, elicit maintainability requirements, and design sustainable development processes. Implement maintainability-focused User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop comprehensive sustainment plans, and deliver targeted training programs. Improve system maintainability through automation, data-driven decision-making, and enhanced collaboration.
