In this part-time role, I manage a 37-unit apartment complex with a variety of units, from studios to townhouses. I work to maintain full capacity and a pleasant living community for all tenants. I collect rents, make deposits, create reports, and issue notices for lease violations and rent increases, as needed. I manage all communications with tenants, including maintenance requests and all property-related concerns. When we have vacant units, I advertise and show them until we get a qualified applicant. I have also performed various bookkeeping duties for this employer.

In this emergency services role, I managed a large-capacity mobile shower unit under contract with the US Forest Service for the 2018 wildfire season and worked at a FEMA camp in Panama City, FL, after Hurricane Michael.

I edited IT-related articles and presentations for Microsoft IT Showcase (using Word and PowerPoint). Subject matters included security and infrastructure, among others. I also edited Dynamics content in XML, using SharePoint and VS Code.

I edited materials written by developers and other subject matter experts, rewriting as needed to ensure clarity for the intended audience.I revised documentation as needed to incorporate software updates.I communicated with program managers, developers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and others. I served as lead editor on multi-editor projects.For documentation that would be published for an international audience, I also edited—and rewrote as needed—for Global English to help make localization easier and more cost-effective.I ensured that all applicable style and legal guidelines were adhered to and created project-specific style sheets to help ensure consistency.

As the OEM Marketing Asset Portal (OMAP) Content Coordinator, I worked with members from various teams to launch a new portal, built on Microsoft Dynamics Marketing, for Microsoft OEM Marketing assets. Before the site launched, I helped ensure that our site would create the best-possible user experience. As part of the launch, I authenticated user requests and created 3,000 user accounts, and I worked with other team members to upload 25,000+ assets. After the launch, I supported all users and helped plan onboarding new groups. I instructed users how to find and download assets from the portal, and even created workarounds for a couple technical issues the escalation support team did not resolve, nor provide effective workarounds for. In addition, I documented procedures and trained colleagues to perform all tasks, and I wrote templates for the most common issues. As a Technical Editor 2, I worked with SharePoint to create and update pages for the Microsoft OEM Marketing site, MyOEM. This work involved making sure proper permissions were applied to each page to help ensure that each partner type could access only the pages that apply to them.
