It feels strange to be writing about myself so I will write as if I am the 3rd person. play along with me:Tina Adams-Carter enjoys working with people and is considered a team player. She received the Hugh O'Brian Youth Ambassador award (HOBY) which is an organization dedicated to "training and nurturing the young leaders of tomorrow." Its mission is to provide lifelong leadership development opportunities that empower youth to achieve their highest potential.Tina has worked in many aspects of business including mortgage banking. She first began on the servicing side where she worked in the REO department and foreclosures. After 3 years she began a career on the Wholesale side working as a Document Specialist, Loan Closer and Broker Coordinator. During this time, Tina worked as a Freelance writer which won her San Diego's Star Writer's award for her article, "Why I would invite a stranger to live in San Diego." Writing allowed Tina freedom of expression which would later lead to marketing, web design and press releases. In 2008 she became involved with "Pets of the Homeless." A charity that helps pets in need. She is proud of accomplishing pet awareness in the San Diego community and creating the Facebook blog page "Pets of the Homeless" which has over 25,000 monthly facebook users. In addition, she published along with StarWand Publishing a book series called “The Precious Opals”Tina decided later on to begin a career working with seniors. Motto: If we are all fortunate enough, we will grow to be old(er)Senior living is now her passion and it’s where she will end her working career. “We all need a beginning point and an end.
