Won two prestigious awards and $35,000. Certified Platinum LEED. Recycled building materials, low- and no-toxic finishes, Passive House, super energy-efficient. All-electric, 100% solar-powered. Sustainably-harvested wood from local, indigenous/tribal-owned company. Permaculture landscaping. Demonstrated mini-split heat pump for whole-house HVAC, three types of solar power, and triple-glazed, low-e, Solar Heat Gain Coefficient-oriented windows. * New England, US, Canadian media coverage.
