Played a pivotal senior HR generalist role in this professional services tech start-up, managing the entire function, including the provision of wellbeing initiatives, bi-annual review process, payroll, training, benefits, vendor management and business partnership, achieving key success such as assisting in the company’s growth from 40 employees to 70 in only 8 months.

Achieved countless success within this key senior HR role within a tech start-up, this involved obtaining comprehensive information on employment law to enable a successful restructuring project to be completed, strong collaboration with the US based SLT, rolling out of a leadership training programme, and a global coaching programme and business partnership. Responsible for managing the HR function for the UK, France, The Netherlands and South Africa and working on and managing global initiatives in collaboration with Global Headquarters in Jersey City and the wider HR team across EMEA and APAC. A pivotal position that made full use of breadth of HR experience, enabling the effective management of all HR policies, procedures and strategies, employee leadership, overseeing of projects, engagement with stakeholders and delivery of a global leadership development programme implementation. Worked with the HRD, GM and General Counsel to establish the path through a key restructure project, analysing performance and identifying employees at risk by assessing performance and running risk analysis, liaising with country managers, calculating company liabilities, understanding processes in countries, instructing lawyers, travelling to regions, communicating changes and managing negotiations.

Thrived in the Senior HR Advisor position at this B2B utilities comparison/sales company, successfully managing the HR Assistant and supporting the talent and recruitment teams to ensure the effective overseeing of 280 employees across the UK and Australia. Managed all activities effectively during this time, this included dealing with all employee relations aspects including disciplinary process, grievances, statutory rights, redundancies, settlement agreements and absence management, maintaining full performance management control, development of high performers, overseeing of complex HR issues seamlessly, business partnering and HR budget control. Gained excellent recognition for achievements which included improving employee retention by 30%, reducing absence by 50% and Employee Engagement scores increasing at a rate of 10% per quarter, which I tracked through regular MI Reports / HR Analytics, including absence, attrition, headcount, budgeting and further Employee Engagement surveys.
