Ever since I was a little kid, I have loved puzzles. Seeing all of the pieces and knowing that somehow in the end they will come together and create a beautiful masterpiece. I look at leading testing teams in much the same way. Constructing the project plan with clearly defined milestones, breaking apart the puzzle into the test plan (edge pieces) and then listing and ranking the individual sections in order of importance. Ever collaborated with someone on a puzzle? You have to keep the communication open and help each other when necessary stay on task. As the puzzle is finished, I am extremely satisfied with the finished product knowing how my attention to detail, collaboration, and problem solving abilities came into play. I have organized several content management systems, created best practice documents, as well as standardized workflows for development and quality assurance activities.
