After a twenty year career in fashion as a children's wear designer, I have dedicated my creative talent to a lifelong passion of photography and crafting. My departure from the fashion world has been bitter sweet, while I miss the incredible inspiration from traveling the world I now enjoy being able to share some of those experiences through my photography work and Etsy crafting.I have been professionally photographing families since 2008, and continue to learn new skills through workshops and conferences. My vision and technical skills for photography come together in bright, colorful images that reflect the joy, sweetness and love of the families I capture. From location selection to designing wall displays and albums, my modern, classic style has become timeless heirlooms for many of my clients and families.Paperie Crafts, my second passion, is a custom shop for personalized room and party decor. All products are designed, cut and assembled by me in Madison, Wisconsin.Paperie Crafts was opened as a creative outlet to continue my love of designing and making fun stuff! I adore all things whimsical and handmade! Etsy became the natural, perfect place for me to be. My experience in children's wear design, product development along with my love of art & crafts have given me the passion to create. A love for design, travel and photography has grown over the years, most recently through photographing my son, Max, and creating unique and personalized decorations for his bedroom, parties and school events.
