I primarily overseen properties that are a mixture of Tax Credit, Home, RD, HUD, as well as Market apartment homes. I was responsible for the overall operational and financial goals set for the portfolio's and assets. Upon arriving to Reno, there was a property with a vacancy issue. The occupancy was only at 82% and it took some time, lots of work, time and training the right manager for the task ahead. This was a big team effort and dedication, but we accomplished it! When I left in July the property was 91% and leased at 93%. Today my wonderful manager is holding ground at 98%! It plays a big part how you lease up your apartment homes. Quick = Quicksand!
