I am a listener, planner, thinker, and guild. In all of my roles through the years these are the gifts I bring to my work. 10 plus years experience in training/program development, project management, and communication.-8 years experience of working with families and individuals with mental illness, developmental disability and acquired brain injury.-Lead, trained and coached a variety of teams include a team of 25 frontline staff that connects people with a disability to the community. -Presented in front of audiences from 3 to 300. -Experience managing diverse key stakeholders including businesses, not for profits, government, staff, volunteers and individual members. -Recruited 100s of volunteers for a variety of projects and events -Produced communication material for a variety of organizations which include training material, articles, newsletters, pamphlets, social media, Blog, and website. -Led varied groups and teams to accomplish project deliverables on time and on budget.- Designed and executed a strategic plan for the nonprofit organization to the successful completion of two major mandates. - Developed a financial plan to sustain a fledgling community group years into the future. -Part of team that won 7 National Awards from our customers.-Project Managed a community event in a diverse East Vancouver neighbourhood that included entertainment, food, planting flowers and shrubs and building a playground with over 200 volunteers.* Education includes Sales/Marketing Business, Project Management, Training Adults and Web Design ( HTML)Specialties: Community Outreach, Project Management, Communication, Coordination, Training and Facilitating, Volunteer Management

    Community group that was 99% volunteered based that build a community garden,green space and playground.We work with other groups such as City of Vancouver, MOSAIC, and Grand-view Woodlands CPC and to build a better community.In the spring of 2010 I was the Project Manager of a team of volunteers, I led MOBY to complete the final 2 phases of the MOBY initiative. What was scheduled to take 15 months to plan and complete was finished in just 3 month. Every detail from planning, fundraising to recruiting 250 volunteers to build the playground in a single day was in my care. This inspiring project involved orchestrating actions between a multitude of organizations, stakeholders and individuals including: Vancouver City Hall, Vancouver Police Department, MOSAIC, SUCCESS, LTBK and many other groups and Community members that helped make this ambitious vision a success.
