As the Co-founder and COO of Next Shift Learning, I focus on growing our business, while staying true to our mission of building an equitable workforce that thrives. To deliver this work, I lead client solutions strategy to deliver world-class learning products and solutions to up-skill nontraditional talent, develop emerging leaders, and turn tech users into super users, creators and developers. I am energized by solving problems and building from scratch. I design and drive client solutions strategy, scale operational capabilities, and create foundational growth strategies — all while developing and nurturing a talented team, and inclusive culture. Prior to NSL, I worked in healthcare, leading major initiatives such as writing enterprise strategies, driving post-merger integration, building a catalyst Transformation Office, designing new lines of business, and supporting hospital operational efficiency reforms. I learned value-based care delivery at industry-leading companies such as Optum (a subsidiary of United Healthcare), Kaiser Permanente, Davita, and Oliver Wyman. My 10-plus years of experience in legislative, business strategy, and healthcare consulting within state agencies for Fortune 10 companies uniquely prepared me to grow NSL. I easily flex between startup growth-focused initiatives, while maintaining high-quality client engagement for global enterprises such as Snap Inc., Endeavor, and government and academic organizations, such as UCLA. My personal mission to create equitable access to healthcare inspired me to look at ways to create scalable solutions to equity, which is why I joined my life partner Sergio Rosas to co-founder and lead Next Shift Learning.
