Job Highlights •Led a cross functional team from Accounting, Planning and Finance in the selection of a new software system to handle all of their specific reporting needs. Created a business process, facilitated ranking the scorecard items in order of importance based on need vs. want. Facilitated vendor demonstrations, gathered and calculated scorecards based on participant feedback, coordinated scorecard review, and gathered further information from the vendors as needed. Effectively utilized scorecards and results to produce final product comparisons and published the findings to facilitate making a software choice. •Served as technical lead and senior analyst on a project that evaluated the calculations used for critical data points used throughout all systems company wide. This inventory control system was used to control costs and maintain tracking of specific high cost items used in the manufacturing process. System was used to control waste and improve processes. •Solely responsible for maintenance and customization changes to a third party accounting and reporting software package.•Originated a bar coding system for our corporate warehouse that was used to track shipments of our core product.
