As a contract Television Reporter for AMI (Accessible Media Incorporated) Tina was an on-air news reporter and interviewer responsible for bringing new story ideas to the attention of the television viewing audience. AMI-TV is broadcast daily from coast to coast. For her selected on-air news pieces, Tina developed, researched, and created a media treatment plan for the entirety of the piece including establishing priorities moving towards on air completion, deadlines, and voice over work. Tina worked diligently to obtain information scout locations, schedule interviews with leading industry professionals, book voice over time, as well as complete various other scheduling and project planning duties. The aim of the dissemination of the news story ideas Tina procured (such as The Canadian National Institute of the Blind and the Guide Dogs Assistance Fund), helped to promote donor contributions and involvement in local sponsorship initiatives.
