CaregiverHomecare Aug 2005 - Oct 2019Kaneohe, Hawaii, United StatesThe most profound and challenging role I've ever undertaken was that of a full-time caregiver for my mother, a retired Marine Master Gunnery Sergeant, who was battling advanced dementia. As her only child, the responsibility was entirely mine, demanding my attention 24/7. The skills and experiences I acquired during this period are a precious legacy my mother imparted to me. I am proud to include this caregiving role in my profile, as it encompassed all my work-related decisions made over this time frame.
