Finding a way to merge my vocation with my life mission has been my lifetime quest.Beginning to experience the fruit of my work through my life experiences & career transitions in the last 10 years.In April 2010, a colleague went to prison. What began as a way to assist a friend in crisis, became a way to assist many whose lives have been affected by incarceration. Born to fill a void in the marketplace, a non-profit, for-purpose organization, Rowen & Schuster, Legal Advocacy & Life Coaching was established.Rowen & Schuster assists previously incarcerated with legal, business and personal matters. We assist ex-offenders to find training, job assistance and job placement. We navigate our clients to needed social services including healthcare & addiction.Rowen & Schuster guides employers to meet diversity requirements while enabling them to find the best candidates. Through social entrepreneurship, Rowen & Schuster creates jobs through partnership with industry and public entities. After retiring from 23 years in pharmaceutical sales, I always wanted to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals to gain back the quality of life they were losing due to the increased presence of managed care medicine. Doctors want to practice medicine their way--give quality medical care to patients without sacrificing income and lifestyle.
