I am the owner of 3 Paul Mitchell schools; 2 in Michigan and 1 in Florida. I am also a co- owner of the Ken Paves Salon in Michigan. I am passionate about the beauty industry for many reasons. First of all it is a lucrative career, you can set your own hours and make just about as much money as you set your heart to; unlike other careers I embarked in that there was a "cap" on the potential. Second, hairstylists are such a loving, caring, passionate group of people that love to serve, give back, and change lives. I have been in the industry for almost 18 years now, and it has given me a life's purpose. 2 years ago I joined the John Maxwell speaking, coaching, and leadership team to further my skills as a business owner. I have learned so much about myself and realized I was holding myself back on my true potential. The skills and philosophy I have learned from John Maxwell and his coaches have helped me not only to be a better business owner, but a better wife, mother, and friend. I love to give back to my community by speaking to different groups. I have spoken at Paul Mitchell trainings, salons, women conferences, high schools, colleges, as well as men and women's business groups. I also co-lead several mastermind "conference" group calls throughout the week.I am an author of the book BE AMAZING.
