I am certified as a canine massage therapist through Brandenburg Massage Therapy located in Martin's Ferry, Ohio. I provide in-home deep-tissue therapeutic massage to dogs to help relieve stress/anxiety, to provide relief from muscle tension, soreness, spasms, and weaknesses, and to increase the general physical and emotional well-being of the dog. I am also trained as a Reiki Master for both animals and humans. With Reiki, I can help animals recover quicker after surgery by reducing pain and soreness, assist families who are sending their pet over the Rainbow Bridge, and help achieve a greater sense of peace and calm (for both animals and people). I can assist dogs who cannot receive massage (ie - dogs with cancer) to live the best life possible through regular Reiki sessions. I was responsible for creating and developing an overall strategy for the department to continually increase revenue for the programs and services the institution provides. I collaborated with various departments to achieve financial goals as well as meet with key decision makers within companies to create partnership opportunities. I also wrote grant proposals to local and national foundations for financial support.I was responsible for an Inaugural Community Leadership Celebration event that brought in over $500,000 of new revenue to the institution. This event was planned in 4 months and brought together Trustees, local and national businesses, and friends of the institution, to recognize a key leader in the Healthcare industry.

I developed the overall strategy for the departments and oversaw all annual giving campaigns including three phonathons, written appeals, and special projects and events. I created and analyzed fiscal year budgets and hired, trained, and motivated a team of Specialists. I proudly represented PA nationwide by serving on the Pennsylvania Division Relay For Life Advisory Team.

Worked with key volunteers to have the first successful Million Dollar Relay For Life event in the state of Pennsylvania. Created and delivered sponsorship proposals to key contributors in the community and ensured the integrity of all Relay For Life events I oversaw. In 2006, I brought in over $1.4 Million in funding alone into the Lancaster Unit via my events.

I was responsible for overseeing staff employed by federal grant awarded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as operations of the organization. I developed, implemented and oversaw plans to actively promote S.A.F.E. and its goals and mission through education and fundraising events in the community and designed, developed and implemented first ever respite program in the area that was solely funded by the Wyoming Valley United Way which served 10 families in need in its inaugural year.

My main responsibility was bringing back the on-air auction after a long hiatus. I thus developed a marketing plan and brochure design for each on-air auction as well as recruited, trained, and supervised volunteers from the community with a training manual I developed. I worked with various departments to ensure the auction's success as well as served as an on-air presence during all fundraising campaigns which served 22 counties in Northeastern and Central Susquehanna Counties.
