Build up a strong and agile global production network to support asset light direction focusing on time, cost, quality, but also extend the value creation through compliance, sustainability, and innovation. Build a strong and long-term partnership with strategic external partners. Create a highly engaged team through mentoring and coaching team members.

Lead the product development team from design, prototype to mass production. Analyze performance of the markets, identify areas of growth/trends, explore and expand new business opportunities. Work with International offices to synergize information sharing & processes. Lead process improvement, supply chain system implementation, 3D projects.

Define product assortment according to market need to formulate the buying strategy and product mix for each season. Suggest ideas for the next buying plans and be the key communicator with the regional top management and headquarters. Attend trade shows and buying trips to identify new product trends.

• Work with director and overseas suppliers to develop product specifications • Participate in product development from design, prototype to mass production stage• Prepare product cost quotation and analysis for new and existing items• Source materials and components for new and existing projects• Perform vendor negotiations to achieve optimum cost • Communicate with overseas manufacturers and freight forwarders regarding shipping schedules and possible delays • Provide weekly updates of open orders report to production and accounting • Handle shortage claims and quality issues with Chinese/overseas vendors

• Resolve shipping issues with Chinese/overseas vendors and freight forwarders• Resolve customs issues with Broker and/or US Customs personnel • Coordinate communications with DC Manager on receiving issues and seasonal/promotional tracking• Perform daily and monthly AP audits for inventory goods • Review Import Compliance Manual • Hands-on experience in Woven, Knit, Sweater, and Denim
