Fast-paced, high impact projects are what excites me. Add to that the overarching purpose of financial services for all, and I'm all in.As a fourth generation business owner changing the face of the retail financial services in India, I oversee the automotive finance division and the publicly listed entity of Muthoot Pappachan Group. However, having started really from the ground-up, and continuing to be a perpetual learner handling multiple responsibilities as a working mother, I take pride in empathy, humility and dedicated work. I was the also Impact Director for #RestartIndia, an initiative of Muthoot Pappachan Group, together with INKtalks to create a common ecosystem for small and medium businesses in India (another fast paced-high impact project!). I stepped into the business as an Associate Vice President with the Group’s listed entity, Muthoot Capital Services Ltd. (MCSL), leading MCSL’s Corporate Lending as well as CSR Functions, for about two years.Prior to this, I had gone through a challenging stint of half a decade, with various Indian & Global Financial Services & Consulting majors, viz., Deloitte, Haskins & Sells; S R Batliboi & Co. (part of E&Y) and B S R & Co (part of KPMG) where I’ve been hands on on various aspects of the consulting space such as Audit, International Tax Consulting, Corporate Law, Data Analysis, Regulatory & Compliance Aspects and Operational aspects of Taxation. I am a Chartered Accountant, and have completed Level 1 of the CFA programme and undertaken Summer programme in Strategy and Management at Harvard Extension School aside from completing the 8-week Business Analytics course from HBS Online. I am a speaker at various business and entrepreneurial forums such as the Indian NBFC Summit and those organised by international knowledge platforms like Singularity and national industrial and professional bodies such as CII, KMA and ICAI and others like FICCI Flo, Her Money Talks and Dhanam Business Magazine. I was also awarded as one of India’s Top 100 Women in Finance in the ‘Promising’ category by AIWMI in 2019. I was also the mentor and juror for the Accenture Innovation Challenge in the year 2022 and 2023. I really love getting things organised, whether its a meeting plan, my desktop, my emails or anything that fits into a box! In my spare time, I enjoy design and art-work, public speaking, going on long nature walks, reading and writing on the Christian faith, not to mention entertaining my toddler.
